I just bought and read "Spider-Man: Blue" today. I have to say, it's probably one of my favourite trades now. I haven't ever read anything by Loeb that I liked this much, I've always thought that even his "good" stuff was pretty poorly written.

But Blue was a really touching love story. And the end was perfect.

Every part of the story was in homage to the original comics. They were sometimes presented a little differently, and many of the events were out of order, but they were all recognizable and together made a great story.

It's good. A little shmultzy but I liked it. Tim Sale's art is perfect for the period and type of book.

Daredevil: Yellow and Hulk: Gray are really good too. Those were the first and only Loeb books I ever read so when the extreme suckiness of Ultimates 3 was revealed it kind of surprised me.

Yeap, that's how it was for me, too.
