Fantastic finale. I know they were saying that season two was supposed to have the Empire Strikes Back finale, but this one felt more like it.

It's campaign is set after RotJ. It has multiplayer arenas set in all eras locations with all eras characters (prequel, original, and sequel trilogies, as well as the Anthology films). But the campaign is firmly set after RotJ and follows the stormtrooper character post-Battle of Endor. This game will likely cover same time frame as Shattered Empire and maybe even the Aftermath trilogy depend on how large a span of time it occurs over. Presumably this will help chronicle the transformation of the remnants of Empire into the First Order, as well as possibly splintering factions within the Empire post Jakku--the few left anyway).

If this Celebration follows the last two it means that the Rebels trailer is going to be even better than season two's.

So that confirms a few things:

Looks like we'll see the Rogue One crossover episode, though not sure if that'll be season finale or if they'll focus on battle for Lothal in the finale. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Also, Season 4 will reintroduce Rukh, Thrawn's Noghri bodyguard from old EU, voiced by Warwick Davis. Awesome.

But seriously, what are odds any of them make it out of the season alive? I can see a few surviving, like Hera, Chopper, maybe Sabine, but Ezra and Kanan are unlikely to live through finale due to, you know, continuity... unless they explain what they were up to throughout Original Trilogy era in new continuity... which is completely possible with new canon once Season 4 is over with early next year, through novels or comics.

Epic. Loving that this chronicles post RotJ from Imp point of view, and will undoubtedly portray creation of First Order (or the Imperial remnants regrouping into what will eventually become the First Order... wonder if this game's ending/epilogue may be tied into the Imps traveling to edge of galaxy (where they supposedly encountered Snoke). Also, the Chiss Empire is also out there, as the recent Thrawn novel's epilogue showed.

Ron Howard to Direct Han Solo

Howard, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter, will meet with the actors to soothe a rattled set and will pore over a rough edit to see what the project has and still needs.
