Stephen King Multiverse Headcanon Multiverse Timelines by Iceman109

Version 1:
1981 - Cat's Eye
1981 - Cujo
1981 - Castle Rock: Friday the 13th (The Dog) [slightly contradicts the movie]

Version 2:
1981 - Castle Rock: Friday the 13th (The Dog) [would be about a different Saint Bernard dog named Cujo owned by a Chambers family?)
1985 - Cat's Eye
1985 - Cujo

This newspaper in Castle Rock also contradicts the Cujo movie, unfortunately. At least it's easy to ignore it.

There's three victims in the movie, not four like here and in the book. Tad Trenton is said to have died here but he lived in the film version.

Oh, another thing, the Cujo book released in 1981 but took place in 1980 (from my understanding). That short video is a deviation from that since it explicitly places itself in 1981.

Well if the cujo reference in castle rock references events closer to the book than the film adaptation that wouldn't make it canon would it?

Ok so with that information I've updated my list

In Cat's Eye, both Cujo and Christine appear. Christine has a new licence plate, so maybe that's why the old one was seen in IT Chapter Two.

The problem with Cujo is that it is connected to Cat's Eye which is connected to Christine.

Apparently Christine in 11.22.63 is literally the same car from Christine. 11.22.63 should definitely be canon.

Randall Flagg Timeline
1963 - 11.22.63 1x08
1994 - The Stand 1x01-1x04
2017 - The Dark Tower

By literally the same car, I mean they retrieved the exact same car used in the film for it. It was the last remaining car that wasn't destroyed.

Also, why is no one including the Castle Rock shorts on their lists???

I think the problem is Castle Rock is connected to Christine, which is connected to Cat's Eye, which is connected to Cujo, but Castle Rock actually doesn't connect to Cujo.

Cujo has to be connected despite the fact that it isn't connected.

The actress for Annie Wilkes in Castle Rock implied that her version is the younger incarnation of the movie character despite that movie releasing in 1990 and being set at that time - seemingly it was retconned. I believe that one of the protagonist's books from exclusively the movie appears in season 2, but honestly I'm not sure if I'm misremembering the details. It had a different cover, anyway.

Am I the only one who thinks that Annie Wilkes being said to be the younger version of the film character makes the film canon? I mean, the fictional Misery's Love book comes exclusively from the film adaptation and it's in Castle Rock.

Yes, this means Misery is set in the future... however, what issues does that actually cause continuity-wise? I've seen the movie and I don't think it's particularly important to set it in 1990. Paul uses a typewriter instead of a computer, yes, but maybe he's old-fashioned or it makes him be more careful with his writings.
