Timeline Hub

1-GODZILLA (1998) is not set in the Monsterverse, but I guess is one of those headcanons you put in your viewing orders.
2-It lacks the following comics:
-Godzilla: Awakening
-Skull Island: The Birth of Kong
-Godzilla: Aftershock
-Godzilla: Dominion
-Kingdom Kong
-Godzilla: Fight or Flight (To be released as part of "Legends of the Monsterverse: The Omnibus" (a compilation of the rest of comics and this one) in February 6, 2024)
I include 98 because the real Godzilla is actually referenced by the fishermen in the hospital. Since it's part of the American franchise, I included it (and because I really enjoy it).

You know there was actually an animated series set in that universe that continued the plot?

I am aware but I think it's loosely based on the film. There are differences that make it appear to be similar, but alternate timeline IMO.
Doesn't it literally feature the last Godzilla egg from the post credits scene of the movie? (I haven't seen the series, it is just what I have heard)

You know that there is a Japanese Godzilla movie that makes a throwaway joke implying GODZILLA (1998) is set in its past? (Granted it is just, a joke)
So that Timeline would be:

1954
Godzilla (1954)

1998
GODZILLA (1998)

2001
Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack

You could say "similar events happened" in this universe lol

Here is my MonsterVerse viewing order. If anyone has any corrections, let me know and I'll adjust.
if you want to add the comics into your viewing order:
Godzilla: Awakening = 1981
Skull Island: The Birth of Kong = 2012
Godzilla: Aftershock = 2014
Godzilla: Dominion = 2019
Kingdom Kong = 2019
Godzilla: Fight or Flight = 2023

There is also a children book.

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong is set probably between King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong. During the first issue, the Legion of Doom are transported to the MonsterVerse and Kong is still on Skull Island. We'll see though. It depends on whether Godzilla and Kong are enemies.

Zilla also featured in Godzilla: Final Wars too.

I honestly think we Need a MinsterVerse timeline, we literally have the most iconico shared universes here. So I think this One would be.... "a fine addiction to our collection" (Daily nerd reference: done).

Guys but the Rings of Power is Canon to the books or the movies? I read a lot of Middle-earth timelines where they put RoP in Movie Canon or Book canon, this Just confused me.

Doesn't fit with book canon and the visuals are inspired by the Films, it's intended to be in the "Middle-Earth Cinematic Universe" or whatever you want to call it

Aprospro Middle-Earth Cinematic Universe, is the announced Game "Tales of the Shire" in it? I mean Weta Workshop is involved

Probably something like that, but you know... with time codes.
okay so, it misses:
"The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age" [Set during the Trilogy]
"The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth" [Set during the Trilogy]
"The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth II" [Set during the Trilogy]
"The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth II: The Rise of the Witch-King" [Set Between 1409 SA to 1636 SA]
"The Lord of the Rings: Conquest" [Set During the Trilogy]
"Tales of the Shire: A "The Lord of the Rings" Game" [Setting Unknown]

Last edited:
"The Lord of the Rings: Gollum" [Set in 3012 TA]
"The Lord of the Rings: Rise of Moria" [Set sometime during the 4th age]
Those two are based on the books, not on the films, hence they are not in the Middle-Earth Cinematic Universe

"The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age" [Set during the Trilogy]
I would also include this one, but some scenes do not fit (f.e. Balrog Fight, and the Final Fight). But imo we can just ignore those ans still include it
