Transformers Cinematic Universe - Timeline

Mr. Pro Bot I have to tell you, your work really inspired me of doing smt like this for every major continuity, Maybe I'll do a thread for Beast Wars... that one would be fun.

It fits well enough. Well... other than Barricade dead then alive then dead then alive...
Welp, The Reign of Starscream makes it far messier considering Barricade is still alive and located where he was defeated in the film. I guess he got deadly ill between page 20 and 21, lol.

Transformers One: New Adventures is terrible and doesn't care for continuity at all... but it shows Sentinel Prime and Alpha Trion alive seemingly after the events of the movie, so uh... if we're going with it being connected due to previous statements, B-127's name/design and Soundwave's voice actor, at least this awful webseries validates the Primes being alive again inexplicably. I don't like it too much but it is what it is.

You could probably assume that Optimus and Megatron fought for millions of years, then reconciled their differences, the Primes came back, Sentinel became trusted again due to millions of years passing, then it kind of corrects itself in a messy way into what we see in the other films.

Travis Van Winkle's opinion on Trent.

"I don't know what I'm best known for, that's not for me to decide, but that is true — I did play the same character in both films, but, I was unaware of it at the time, and since the films have been out now for over a decade, that's become the lore. People don't know why, but, yeah."
So there. Now there's the fact that the actor confirmed that his characters from Transformers and Friday the 13th with the same name, car and personality, both created by Michael Bay, are the same person.

Trent appears in Tales of the Fallen #1, and the wiki places that in late 2008, so Friday the 13th has been moved to 2009.
This was a bit premature. Trent's cameo is soon after Bumblebee is assigned as Sam's guardian in 2007, meaning Trent was still alive, while the main events are in Summer 2009 due to Sam preparing to go to College. There's also a car expiration date of 2008 in Friday the 13th (2009), so really, all evidence points to June 2008.

does it work?
Okay, that doesn't contradict Tales of the Fallen #6 or Alliance #4 at all, lol. Once again, the contradictions these comics have with one another and the movies are exaggerated.

There's almost nothing in them that I can think of that heavily contradicts 4-5 and yet it's insisted that they don't count in the comics timeline even though both IDW and The Last Knight are canon to the Bumblebee prequel comic.

RotF #3-8 and 10-19 aren't in the wikiìs archive so IDK where to find them.

The one example of Titan and IDW contradicting one another I was given wasnt even a proper contradiction.

Skids and Mudflap could have left Cybertron to go to Earth (vol. 2 #1), got intercepted by Thundercracker and Flatline on the way before being rescued by Arcee (Tales of the Fallen #1), then they land on Earth together (Alliance #4).

All the DotM comics are here, and now moving to Age of Extinction!

AoE #5 isn't in the archive, so it could be lost media.

I saw this reddit comment regarding London in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. I mean, it's not what was intended for the film and I doubt that those films will be taken as canon come the crossover movie (probably - they did use their logo), but I guess it's a decent head-canon that could allow those first two films to fit.

Cobra probably could orchestrate a Mission Impossible fake broadcast. It's not what the film was trying to show at all, but I guess they could.

If they tried having those first two films as canon though, they'd pretty much be unable to use the majority of the main G.I. Joe roster. They did at one point say they want to use lesser known characters though I believe, so I guess it's possible. Snake Eyes is probably old enough to appear in the crossover as a younger version of Ray Parks' version, as much as I doubt this will be done.
