I think some people, like myself, have been too slow to judge the book. I've been patient with Bendis for a while waiting for the book to get back on track.I think everyone is being too quick to judge USM.

He. Turned. MJ. Into. DemoGoblin.

death of the goblin will be about MJ, and then Peter will deal with that.
I'm relatively new to USM, and I havent read Silver Sable or Deadpool. So I remain cautiously optimistic. The Clone Saga definetly has potential to be awful.

So. what? It's not some sacred violation of all that's holy. I find it far more interesting that MJ is not safe from Peter's life rather than vice versa.
Things you don't do or things you just do not want to see?
Some of you guys were hating and/or complaining about USM long before that ever happened.
Ironically, does anyone know what happened 24ish issues ago? That's right, the break-up. And the "death" of the supporting cast. We seldom see them anymore. It's like right after that arc Peter shoved his entire Peter Parker life away, and all that's followed are these mediocre stories.No. It's just like MWoF said. The fans have been patient. The book has been way below lackluster for going on 2 years now. That's 24(+) issues. 24 issues of utter worthless stories.
bingo. I wouldn't call it hate on my part, as I still like Bendis a great deal, and have tremendous faith in his writing ability, but annoyance at his recent stories. I'm sure that because he can see where's it going, it doesn't look so bad, but we can't. His earlier USM was way stronger. But what a lot of you newer fans to USM fail to realize is that the hate for this book/Bendis stems not from stupid USM stories. Stupid stories are just a part of the comic world. We all accept them. The hate stems from the fact that Bendis is capable of SOOOOOO much better.
? what is going on there?well, it seems that ultimate power 2 might solve the whole kitty mj thing.....damn bendis.
? what is going on there?
edit: ok seen. Crap. Here's hoping Ultimate Power is before the Clone Saga. I hate Kitty Pryde.

Here's hoping. Besides, with all his secrecy, I wouldn't think Bendis would give the ending to the thing the fans care about most away. And what about the goings on of UXM? it looks like Kitty shouldn't be in an X-men uniform if it's the future.Pretty sure it is.
it's supposed to be that far in the future? I refuse to believe that Spidey and Kitty are an still an item when they are 18-19. and that she hasn't picked a superheroine name by then. But then again, Ultimate Power is supposed to be between Ultimates 3 and Ultimates 4, and if it takes place before Clone Saga, it screws continuity up again.

LOl..well I'd say pay attention to USM first of all..it's teh only one with a seemingly set continuity and references to time. I'm just going to say screw Ultimate Power. It's clearly not meant to fit into any continuity, and it's blatantly using Kitty/Spidey to cash in on their relationship's popularity.Come on, guys! It's a BENDIS comic! What were you expecting?
Someone needs to create a hierarchy of canon for the Ultimate Universe--you know, saying which comic you should pay attention to if two comics contradict. Main series top miniseries, things not written by Bendis top things written by Bendis, that sort of thing.
We're no saying things like, "there There are things you don't do in comics." because we think MJ is sacred, its because turning her into a wolf man is just stupid, see we complain about this so much is because we care about the series, we enjoy it and we don't want to see it go to crap. We see MJ as a great supporting character, her personality compliments Peter's well. She was the only person to really be grounding him in his real life, which was one of the best parts of this seires and one we have seen next to nothing for the past 30 issues. And turning her into the wolf-man just ruined the best aspects of her character. And some people say it will play out well in the end oh like when he killed Gwen another really great supporting character, that was a partial ultimization of one of the most pivitol moments in the Spider-man mythology and the fall out was terrible and the rest of the series went downhill. And in 616 it didnt have any scifi mutations, just a madman and a bridge. Not a defective clone turning MJ into the wolfman (god that sounds soo retarded). The point is we complain cause we are upset, with like this series, it was truely great, it personally got me really into comics and we hate to see it become crap.So. what? It's not some sacred violation of all that's holy. I find it far more interesting that MJ is not safe from Peter's life rather than vice versa.

i wonder what that could mean:In the upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man #103, Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley shatter the record for most issues by a single creative team at Marvel, previously held by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Now, in Ultimate Spider-Man #104 the men who built the Ultimate wall-crawler's life shatter it in the final issue of the Ultimate CLONE SAGA storyline, an epic saga that has shot the book back into the popular conscious and wowed critics and fans alike!
Says Newsarama's Corey Henson, "The superstar writer has delivered some of his best mainstream writing during the storyline. Plotlines simmering since the early issues are finally unfolding, and the exhilarating action is tempered with heartbreaking character moments!"
Sam Kirkland of Silverbulletcomicbooks.com calls it "the most epic Ultimate Spider-Man storyline yet."
To commemorate the double-sized last chapter of this remarkable tale, Mark Bagley has created a spectacular cover of the web-head swinging through the streets of New York, in an homage to Joe Quesada's cover to the issue that started it all, Ultimate Spider-Man #1. But who is it under the mask? Which "Peter Parker" is the real deal and what happens to his genetic twins and the monsters unleashed in the course of the CLONE SAGA? The answers are only found here in this landmark issue! Don't miss it, True Believers!
