Uh... ok, not so great. The arc's gonna be great but this wasn't nearly as good as the last one and the fact that our guest doesn't show up really pissed me off.
Anyway, what did we have...
Starts off with the recap of Cyclop's relationship with Lorna as seen in the preview. Then we're faced with Lorna in her cell crying her eyes out and playing right into Magneto's arms. I think Lorna's a little too gullible for my likeing.
Next we're back with Alex & Company. Nightcrawler appears and they crash their car there's a little fight where Cyclops and Alex square off and Cyclops gets beat. Alex tells Northstar that Scott let him win. The others are captured (knocked out) and Havok and Northstar escape.
Forge and Mystique are in a police cruiser and see Northstar speed by. Mystique reveals the plan is going accordingly.
Scott is talking to Jean whose with Iceman and Colossus who tell them they'll be waiting for Northstar and Havok. Last page is a splash with The Ultimates saying something cheasy and there they are.
Pretty weak but I guess it serves as a filler and we know Vaughan's the man and the overall product will deliver. But focusing on the issue. Disappointed.
barely a 3 out of 5
