Watchmen (TV Series) - Timeline

Do you guys think it's possible that the members of the Watchmen are just variants of the Charlton characters they are based on?
A one-off comic The Multiversity: Pax American from 2014 explores what that might look like, set on Earth-4.

I know that but regular 80s cars didn't exist in the Watchmen universe why wouldn't they carry on the car designs into 2019 unless it's a Fallout situation where they used real life cars in the show but in the games they are fictional

been going through the show again, this excerpt from peteypedia implies that for a time after dr manhattan leaves earth in 1985 cars had to go back to being gas powered, more in line with real-world designs, before around 2008 when trieu replicated manhattans synthetic lithium, allowing for the creation of electric models of these closer to realistic cars

are these not considered canon?

also just found these:

each volume of the soundtrack got an in-universe version with a bit more info, you can find them in the gallery sections of each wiki page

the first one goes really in-depth about the shift in technology

Hey Pro Bot!
1. You might want to include that
2. Writer Jeff Jensen for Watchmen has states that the series takes place in the same universe as Twin Peaks

3. Dr. Jacoby from Twin Peaks appears in 3 episodes of TV Show General Hospital
4. The Young Marrieds and Port Charles are spin-offs of General Hospital
5. General Hospital crossovers with One Life to Live, Loving, The City, All My Children, What If... and Ryan's Hope
