WTF Moments in comics.

Re: WTF Momments in comics.

I shall pick some recent ones:

Ultimate Iron Man - ORSON SCOTT CARD!
Loeb's Wolverine arc - where he turned him into a werewolf caveman
Loeb's Ultimates 3 - what the ****? What is this even about?
One More Day - I still don't really understand how it works
MJ Goblin - because Mole asked for it
Xorn - proof that no one should be allowed to use Morrison's ideas

More soon.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned M.J goblin yet?

Re: WTF Momments in comics.

Good job no one on here has recently bought Long Halloween

:( oh well It might still be cool

Re: WTF Momments in comics.

Not only did Long Halloween totally have an ending, but it was a two-part story with Dark Victory anyway. And it was a DAMN good Batman story.

I agree that it had an ending, (a pretty good one, actually) I just agree with the consensus that it was decent at best.

And I never read Dark Victory. But to each his own.

Until they ridiculously showhorn Robin in VERY near to the end, I think Dark Victory is generally even better than Long Halloween.

It was worth a read. It starts good but he doesn't know how to tell a mystery. His reveals leaves a lot to be desired.

It is. Don't listen to them.

Whenever Loeb gets together with Tim Sale, it's like he's a completely different writer.

As for my WTF moment. . .

The 90s. The entire damn decade. I have no idea why everything else was so good in the 90s except the comic industry. *shakes head*
