Edit: It wasn't Hemingway but outside of a few inidividual moments, I definitely wouldn't equate it with what I think of as "dumb" blockbusters by a long shot. XMO:W, for example.

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE was big "dumb" summer entertainment done horribly, horribly wrong. X-MEN: FIRST CLASS is the opposite.
