The Zombie universe is ever-growing with really weird ramifications for the Ultimate Universe continuity.
I like the new dimension added by all these other universes tying into the UU. Really, as long as 616 never crosses over, a handful of smaller alternate universes just enriches the original, I think.
But this zombie stuff is really treading some dangerous waters.
I suppose the Army of Darkness stuff could just be written off, since that universe is untouchable, legally, to future writers, so it's just a weird quirk that Ash happens to be present for the most important event in the universe's history.
But Zombie Wolverine in Exiles is harder to ignore. And not just because he dies in the end. That could somehow be explained away. I still like the inclusion of these issues in any official zombie timeline. And since they took place on another alternate Earth and not 616 anyway, it shouldn't cause too much damage. Still just a hop, skip and jump away from 616, but since all the other Wolverines were from non-616 universes, it still falls short of a crossover.
Also, for anyone who missed it, there was a one-page Marvel Zombies story in an issue of Wizard a couple months ago. It was a parody of the old Hostess ads. But I see no reason why it couldn't be included as canon, just for fun. It doesn't disrupt anything and even kind of fits around the beginning of issue 2, I believe. Which is where I'd put the Exiles issues, too, for that matter.
Anyway, just some thoughts and concerns.
