Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (spoilers)

William is going to be in the 4th

I thought Bloom and Knightley weren't going to be in any further installments...

I was under the impression that the next movie was going to be all Jack, with maybe a few new characters.

Well, it could be about him reversing the curse and being restored to normal.

There was no open heart surgery in the 15th century!!

TEH BAD SURGERY!

Except with a heart.

I was thinking about it, and there's one thing could've really made me love this movie.

Giant Calypso thrashing around in the ocean, controlling the waves, picking up and smashing the ships. That would've been more awesome than anything.

I could've forgiven all the other stuff I didn't like if they had done that. I thought they were going to do that, but I was wrong and it made me sad, like so much else in the movie.

Meh. The plot was absolutely Dreadful, and there were pointless scenes that muddied the whole thing up.

A big waterfall to hell? WTF???

Norrington was wasted entirely.

I for one hated having multiple Jack Sparrows on screen.

Sao Feng should not have died.

What the **** was going on with will the whole time? How many times can one an switch sides in less than three hours???

It was visually ok, the and the acting wasn't bad, but the plot really brought the movie down quite a bit.

6.5/10 on a good day.

The people on the IMDB boards are idiots.

They keep arguing Will's curse is broke because the writers said so in interviews.

Well, guess what, the exact opposite was said in the movie.

All of your other points could be considered valid, but this one I don't understand.

The world ending in a giant waterfall was how people thought the world really ended when they thought it was flat. You would simply fall off the world.

Hence "At World's End".

I also definitely agree with DSF, TOG, and Ice.

o_O It was a LOT better than the second...

I should know, I finished watching the second literally 40 minutes before the third started in the theater.

Better Acting, Better Writing, They didn't spend half the movie repeating gags from the first film, and in general, it was a damn good movie.

That's the only thing I didn't like about 2. But from the cannibal island on it was an amazing and funny action movie.

3 was boring and never really got off the ground.

I think it started off the ground...

I really think it helped a lot to watch the second one first, because it continues the slow escalation of the second movie, and then takes it to a whole new level.

I'll watch the second one again soon. My big problem is that it just didn't have the same level of wit and charm as the first two.

I still love the franchise and would happily see a fourth. I'm just not a fan of 3.

Yeah, that was definetly a nice...metaphor (for the lack of a better word) for that.

Nope. But, I do enjoy a good popcorn flick, which is exactly what this was.

No, the first and second ones were great popcorn flicks. This was a dragging, shambling failure.

It just didn't have the adrenaline the first two had. And I watch both very recently. It's like Joe said, I was waiting for it to take off for a good hour before I started to worry that it wasn't going to, and I was right.

Oh Planet-Man, you poor misguided soul.

Clearly somebody beat all the cinematic taste out of you when you were a kid.

*pat-pat*
