The sets look awesome. Also, just from the picture of Marion and Mutt, I'm going to assume that
Marion is Mutt's mother.
Also, very interesting costume for Cate Blanchett's character.

The only thing I'm a little worried about is what Lucas said about the tone of the movie.
It's supposed to be more 50's sci-fi rather than 30's pulp adventure.
It could be good, but. . .I dunno. :?

Isn't that the place where the ark of the covenant is?

I've heard rumors that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is basically Raiders of the Lost Ark 2. The Warehouse, Marion's return, the crate on the official site that says "Property of Dr. Jones" with almost the exact same numbers as on the Ark crate at the end of Raiders, and the fact that Lucas said that Kingdom is closest to Raiders in tone and scope.

Has everyone read about Lucas saying that the movie
is less 30's pulp adventure and more 50's science fiction
? This both scares and excites me. Whoops, just realized Lynx posted this up above.

Also, there's a blog reviewing various Lego sets for the movie... which are quite spoilerish. They also hint at something that's in the movie that doesn't really fit with Indiana Jones...
aliens...

I'm still looking forward to it though.

I saw the Lego set of the Chachapocyan temple from the intro to Raiders for the first time sitting on a shelf in a store, completely unexpectedly because I didn't know they were even making Indy lego now. I used to fantasize about that, years ago. Definitely going to try and buy it around when the movie comes out.

It fits with the change in tone, though.

Plus, it's still technically "supernatural". Different ends of the spectrum, to be sure, but it's still in the realm of possibility in an Indiana Jones movie.

I've been debating wheather or not to post these because, I got them from a friend and E doesn't seem to like it when I don't mention the source of the photos. So I'll post them and if he doesn't like it... he can just take them off.
