If the symbol is rounded like this Þ, it just the letter from the old alphabet. but if it has a triangle (pictured below) then it's the Cult of Thorn

Also, if anyone knows if these mangas have any ties to any pre-existing Slasherverse media (or perhaps have been referenced), lemme know. Like, surely there's atleast gotta be a reference in, say, any of the Hack/Slash comics that bring up an island home to a cannibalistic mutant family (Freak Island), a serial killer schoolgirl wearing a Pumpkin mask (Pumpkin Night) or a masked killer who, despite being apprehended, torments his victims through hallucinations (Killing Morph).

Canon? If so, it's kinda weird that humanity was wiped out after building off-world colonies and such in Jason X.

As for the Hellraiser comics, well... the Boom! Studios comics share continuity with the Epic Comics run, which had a contradictory origin for the Lament Configuration. I believe the first three films are canonical in that timeline though.

Also, I'm adamant that Dr. Curry's mention about "Covens of Werewolves" is referencing The Howling movies (which would work, since the first six movies in the series had released by then, with the latest one just coming out in 1991). As for the "Swamp Monsters roaming bayous", it's either gotta be the 1980s Swamp Thing movies (made by Wes Craven :D), The Beast Within or Terror in the Swamp.

As mentioned above by Jozaca and Pro Bot, the 2009 movie is merely a reboot that has no connections to the main Slasherverse, though ironically enough, it shares a character from the first Bayverse Transformers movie... which uhh, yeah.

The character in question, who shares the same actor (Travis Van Winkle). He has a different surname (Sutton) in Ft13, but I think the intention of him being the same character is there.

The last name thing isn't even existent really. He's Trent DeMarco in the Transformers novelization only and he lives in the Sutton residence in a Friday the 13th deleted scene. Non-canon sources that don't contradict each other really.
