Honestly, we DON'T actually know when the Present Day segments take place. For all we know, they could be set centuries after Predator 2, so I'm not sure if placing the Present Day segments for KoK before the first movie would be a good thing.

At the most, I feel like someone should ask the director about this, since otherwise, it's gonna be a lingering question.

I just hope they have a plan for the items passing from one set of hands to another. I'd hate to see it become a mystery we never get a solid answer on.
