Guys, about DOFP, do you guys have a theory/headcanon of how Kitty Pryde learn her ability to send consciousness back in time?, I know is a extension of her mutation, but always wanted to know how she discover, was by accident?

She definitely had to did a test to learn how works, etc.

I think she didn't developed this extension in Revised Timeline.

with how time travel usually works in marvel some person she accidentally mind blew into the past or future is definitely no longer here mentally

Maybe she was stroking Iceman's head (since they were a couple between The Last Stand and DOFP), then accidentally triggered that consciousness-sending energy and sent him back a day, he returned and told her about it, which led her to develop this to used against Sentinels to the point we saw in DOFP.

Does that make sense?
