They're exploring a lot of ideas for movies, some of which may get made.Anyone knows why Wikipedia the Bane and Deathstroke is listed on the DCU article?
It's a movie WITH Bane and Deathstroke that's supposedly in the works, maybe as antagonists but not main characters (I strongly doubt they will be at least). And it's not gonna be called "Bane & Deathstroke". That's new articles lying or stretching the truth out of context.Anyone knows why Wikipedia the Bane and Deathstroke is listed on the DCU article? Is there a reason other than Wikipedia being Wikipedia?
I have no idea, just plans for Bane and Deathstroke that are unspecified. Was more asking about if this movie with the two is set in the DCU, 'cause I don't remember any reports stating that
i think its mostly been implied, gunn has always brought it up in terms of future dcu plans and he's never specified that it will be elseworldsWas more asking about if this movie with the two is set in the DCU, 'cause I don't remember any reports stating that
While I don't accept this designation currently, I think I speculated that that could be the case. The DCU is the NEW Earth-1 post-Flashpoint.
Meanwhile, the DCEU's new numeration in the multiverse I don't have knowledge of. Gunn hasn't confirmed the specifics of what is different about this current stage of the multiverse yet.

definitely agree with thisIn that sense, the DC Universe is technically a sequel to the DC Extended Universe in that both it and the Clooney-Verse are valid realities spinning off.
Also, I always thought Clooney would be a decent Frank Miller Batman given the right material... I feel that's controversial to say though. While I don't accept this designation currently, I think I speculated that that could be the case.
(Don't take the reality numbers too seriously)
Pre-Crisis
Earth-38 - DC Extended Universe (JL?)
Earth-89 - Burtonverse
Post-Crisis/Pre-Flashpoint
Earth-1 - DC Extended Universe (ZSJL?)
Earth-89 - Burtonverse
Flashpoint
Earth-1 - DC Extended Universe (Keaton)
Post-Flashpoint
Earth-1 - DC Universe
Earth-38 - DC Extended Universe (Clooney)

By confirming what's not so there isn't confusion, which he's following well so far. We'll see how quickly he confirms that media IS canon whenever that multimedia starts releasing, but with the way he's been holding on canon it'd prob be big part of their announcements. How are we supposed to keep track of what's canon and what's not
