Green Lantern series discussion (Spoilers!)

In the latest issue of Green Lantern Corps, Mongul ripped out Arkillo's tongue. I am looking forward to the Mongul/Sinestro encounter. That will be insane.

is their anything else I should get? the rest of Green Lantern Corps? wasn't their like an Orange Lantern mini or something? something to do with Final Crisis?
 
There was a Rage of the Red Lanterns one shot that you need to get and read after Secret Origin as it's the first part of the Red Lantern arc.

It will be. Especially since odds are, your rooting for Sinestro. I jumped on GLC during SW and it has been great since. This and GL have been the books I look forward to reading every month the most.

The whole BL arc is going to be insane.
 
Has DC announced how the Alpha Lanterns story will be collected in trade (#26-28 )?

According to Captain Canuck's post above, it is collected in the Rage of the Red Lanterns TPB.

Cool. Waiting patiently for that, although I think I will just read the issues since I have them now, thanks in part to Proj.

I did read the Alpha Lanterns story and liked it. This is probably my favorite book right now.

Doug Mahnke is the new Green Lantern artist.

Ivan Reis will be drawing the Blackest Night mini. I am guessing that Reis will be drawing the new Flash ongoing post-Rebirth.

There's a dessicated corpse, at the very least, but we don't know for sure what that means. Presumably, the DNA of the body matches up to Bruce's.

He was hit by an Omega sanction, and it hasn't been revealed what precisely that means, but it appears that he's undergoing a series of non-chronological reincarnations, each of which becomes progressively more dire.

So... Physically, he's dead, but his spirit is still floating around, being reborn again and again. In the process, he's scrawling the symbols of the present day's current heroes, seeding them throughout history as the world's new pantheon.

So do you think that means he will one of the dead who "rise again" in BN or not?

I am hoping not.

I doubt it. Batman's return is going to be Morrison's baby, I'm sure. Batman's not dead (or rather, his death is incredibly complicated), which I take to mean as he'll steer clear of BN. I think we're still missing a big piece that will reveal to us just what the direction of BN will be, but given that Barry's just come back from the dead, and Hal has a history of rising from the grave, I think it's going to be an exploration of why and how characters return. The method of Black Lanterns resurrection will be atypical of the classic superhero journey from the underworld. I'm betting Barry will play a pretty big role.

Awesome. Blackest Night #0 is going to be free too so there's no reason for anyone not to get it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Batman rises from the grave and is given a Black Lantern ring at the end of this scene either.
