holy crap... the God i believed was kinda a jerk is not a jerk and, in fact, rules. that's awesome, made my day.
so yeah, stop worrying about Jade being dead. she'll be back in 5 years. her power went into a GOOOOOD. there will be one story arc where ion needs some poon, and will remake her with his awesome might, and lose some of his power. it'll happen.
i didn't get this, but i'm gonna read it wed. at the store, because i really really REALLY wanna see a fight against giant hands. it's something i think is sorely missing from modern, "realistic" comics... fighting giant body parts.
and kyle is so much better than hal, seriously. hal gets boring! hence all the change. even art-wise, which is super important for green lantern. oh look, i'm so focused, i'monna shoot beams! yay! super-beams that can cut through anything! woo! i'll take the guy who invents giant zombie killer pandas to eat super-villains, thank you very much.

ion's name is awesome, not ****-break.
and while no, this guy won't be as good as ted, it's hardly like ted was a classic character. they won't bring him back.
the vibe i've been getting off this guy is simply that he's gonna be an early spiderman archetype.
new kid gets great power, learns to use it for good. and it's gonna happen real fast:
Batman: you have great power, now use it for good.
Blue Beetle: What--
Batman: now, dammit! now we're going to go fight a satellite!
Booster: let's do it!
Blue Beetle: Uh... k.
i would like the cover in most cases, but for IC i want huge action packed covers, not just 3 characters. though the covers have been hidden in the solicits to an extent. still, I'm def. getting hte Supermen fighting variant for this one.

And I think Ted might be on the verge of Classic character status. He's been around for over 20 years and alot of us remember him from our childhood. He's atleast classic to us.
