It shares elements with a few of them, it's not the same universe.Payday is in the same Universe as the Valve games?
It's set mainly in December of 2024I'll have to watch the film at some point soonish.

To preview: My plan with mapping out the Omniverse is that its gonna be the Big Two i.e. DC and Marvel, which are mostly walled off via Source Wall (DC) or the "Mystery" beyond the Far Shore (Marvel), and a bunch of scattered multiverses inbetween that don't have those same cosmic barriers.Hotline Miami has a multiverse crossover. In the Binding of Isaac card game's Warp Zone expansion it brings in objects and people from across the Multiverse (Toejam and Earl, Spelunky, Friday Night Funkin, Hollow Knight, a bunch of indie games I've never heard of, etc) there's items from Hotline Miami as part of it. I'm not sure if that's something that can really be added to the timeline (not sure how you'd list TCG cards) but I thought it would be worth mentioning. I also think it may be somewhat relevant to @selfishmisery as well due to that big humongous Omniverse chronicling thing he was doing a couple years ago. Since the Payday-verse is connected to Fortnite and that's connected to Marvel/DC.
Iirc the card game also has stuff from Celeste which connects to Crypt of the necrodancer which connects to Pizza Tower and Hatsune Miku in a Multiverse DLC. And also met Zelda which brings in Nintendo which in turn brings in Sega which brings in Capcom which wraps back around to Marvel
Yeah, I just remember you having a Multiverse list on there. I think most (not all) of the things I listed could probably be condensed down into a "Newgrounds" Multiverse since most of that stuff either got their start there or were made by popular creators from that siteTo preview: My plan with mapping out the Omniverse is that its gonna be the Big Two i.e. DC and Marvel, which are mostly walled off via Source Wall (DC) or the "Mystery" beyond the Far Shore (Marvel), and a bunch of scattered multiverses inbetween that don't have those same cosmic barriers.
What does Newgrounds have to do with anything? The games you mentioned?Yeah, I just remember you having a Multiverse list on there. Newgrounds has to do with the games since they're made by a lot of creators from that site. Like Tankman the mascot of Newgrounds is literally an opponent in Friday Night Funkin for example lol. He's also in one of the Super Meat Boy games (which connects to a bunch of other indie games like I wanna be the guy)What does Newgrounds have to do with anything? The games you mentioned?
I typically associate that site with the worst, the most perverted and unfunny of humanity via lewd-taboo trash.
That's fine. I do think though that "Video Game Multiverse" is a little too broad of a descriptor. It'd be like forcing Marvel and DC together to be the "comic Multiverse" I think dividing by company mostly makes sense, like there's the Nintendo Multiverse, the Sega Multiverse, the Sony Multiverse, etcEven then, I'm not calling it a Newgrounds multiverse. It's the video game multiverse.
I have strong opinions against that website.
I do think with Sony specifically they have their own Multiverse due to PlayStation All Stars being Canon, and GoW4 having like, scrolls describing parallel universes that are all other Sony IP like Dreams and MLB The ShowThat's fine. "Newgrounds Multiverse" implies I have to make Zone and their hideous awful parodies canon because some artist on the Skullgirls game team put their female-sona in the game.Newgrounds has to do with the games since they're made by a lot of creators from that site. Man I wasn't even talking about that I was literally just talking about the popular games from Newgrounds like Binding of Isaac, you're taking it COMPLETELY off course"Newgrounds Multiverse" implies I have to make Zone and their hideous awful parodies canon because some artist on the Skullgirls game team put their female-sona in the game.
You really want me to go down that rabbit hole? I'd rather not count stuff like that if I have to.
Oh ok cool. I was very concerned because that whole Newgrounds topic is such a trigger for me.Man I wasn't even talking about that I was literally just talking about the popular games from Newgrounds like Binding of Isaac, you're taking it COMPLETELY off course
Yeah I don't really think too much about the site outside of the indie games I mentioned more or less getting their start there (or if not them then usually their creators did)Oh ok cool. I was very concerned because that whole Newgrounds topic is such a trigger for me.
Pro Bot, this trailer plus DLC implies the Chivalry games take place in this continuity. I guess earliest thing in this timeline lol
Reminder for these 2 games to be added at some point (RAID and Chivalry)RAID World War II apparently also takes place in this universe as well so that's another thing to add
"RAID: World War II takes place in the same universe as the Payday series, with Hoxton's butler Aldstone being the grandson of RAID's Control."
