No way am I watching that ****, XD. These films are less official than those Freddy/Friday/Black Christmas fan films, and those actually use actors from the films. Amityville 1-8, that's probably for the best... at least, for my soul.

Let's calm down first and examine the timelines. It does appear as if it house is supposed to be destroyed in 3-D. Legacy/Evil Never Dies seem to be part of the "unofficial" branch of films but it does reference all of those sequels directly, and that the house was destroyed. Though, I suppose that could explain why it looks slightly different in Chucky.

The order, to explain the house continuity, might be:
1975 - The Amityville Horror (1979)
1982 - Amityville II: The Possession
1986 - Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes (yard sale for house)
1987 - Amityville 3-D (House destroyed)
1989 - The Amityville Curse
1992 - Amityville: It's About Time
1993 - Amityville: A New Generation
1996 - Amityville Dollhouse
2014 - The Amityville Legacy
2017 - Amityville: Evil Never Dies
2023 - Chucky 3x03, "Jennifer's Body" (house rebuilt)

I and my friends actually started to watch the slasherverse... we have to watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

So... Twin Peaks has time travel in it and ends with a new timeline or something like that. I hate that I have to even consider including it over something so small, but... oh well.

I'm gonna say that Amityville 4 is a prequel and place 3-D after it, so the house was destroyed in 1987 and the cursed grounds/building material influenced the design for the 2023 version. Holy crap is it cool that Chucky went to Amityville, but damn is it a bit annoying. They also reference that everyone who has lived there since has been terrorised or murdered in some way, so that only lines up with the fictional version.
