The hell was wrong with Narnia?

I mean, it was a little childish, but so were the books.

It was boring.

The Narnia film did nothing for me. Aside from the fact that I generally hate "brother and sister adventure" stories from the get-go, the whole world just has no appeal to me. It's like a compilation of all the weaker aspects of the Harry Potter and LOTR worlds, the ones that only work in those particular stories because they're so well done, but in other worlds they're just cliched fluff.

That and the fact that there were a bunch of really annoying basic directoral flaws that stood out to me. I was pretty surprised to see a lot of that.
