Oh man, I'm just loving Locke & Key right now. Clockworks #1 was just one of those issues you just read over and over because it's so awesome!

I have been reading The Goon lately (particularly the Dark Horse stuff) and I love it. Especially the Dark Horse stuff.

Volume 6 was released as one big story (Chinatown and the Mystery of Mister Wicker) volume 7 is issues 19-23, 8 is issues 24-27, 9 is issues 28-31. But these all build on previous stuff so just read the series in order.

Mister President. You know who I am. I'll try and be brief… but I'd like to share some interesting statistics with you.

By the end of this decade… the Muslim world will control sixty percent of the world's oil production and ninety-five percent of remaining global oil export capacity. The oil companies that control you must do business with policies and connections disagreeable to "free-thinking" Americans. That places you in a precarious position.

From my perspective, I see your administration continually moving toward a goal of world hegemony… using fictitious military campaigns against "terrorist threats" and so-called "despots" to secure – by force – control over the oil supplies necessary to preserve your cohorts' stranglehold on the free world economy. And all of mankind suffers from your ethical imbalance.

You see me as your enemy because my company is providing an alternative that conflicts with your political self-interests. I'm not your enemy, Mister President. I'm the future. And you… are far from untouchable.

Recently I've been falling in love with Joe Casey.

I know I've brought up Godland somewhere or another but I don't remember who said what about it. Have you guys read it?

No. Should I?

Yes. That may have been me.

I never finished Godland (because, if I recall correctly, Godland never got completed. Tch).

It's rough around the edges but pretty brilliant, and it was my introduction to Casey.

Grant Morrison's Supergods is the best book on comics ever written.

Bill Jemas was the worst.
