The All About Comic Book Movies Thread

Wow, that picture is genuinely cool in every way. It's weird that there are so many people against Rogen in this movie. Are there really that many die-hard fans of the Green Hornet?

Not watched the dvd yet but while in usa I picked up Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. From trailer it looks pretty cool. I'll watch it this weekend

So, I watched Hellboy II: The Golden Army again. It's a shame this movie seemed to have gotten washed away in the publicity for Marvel and DC's comic book movies last year because it's really a great little film.

Edit: :D That Rogan-as-Hornet pic is great.

'Turtles Forever' Crossover Movie Teams Up '80s and '00s TMNTs.

Cannot wait for this. The original Mirage Comics Turtles are going to be featured in it as well. Not to mention Bebop, Rocksteady (from the '87 toon) and Tohka and Rahzar (from the movies).

Also; fed up that only some of the DCDTVs are available over here (and even then, they're only bare-bones editions), I went on Amazon last night and ordered Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Justice League: New Frontier and Green Lantern: First Flight (as well as Supernatural Complete Season 4, which is only available in separate, far more expensive parts, over here). Looking forward to Public Enemies the most, even though I could care less about Tim Daly as Superman.

Bryan Singer Interested In Another 'X-Men' Movie
by Jay Cochran in Marvel at 11:22 AM on 2009.10.12

Bryan Singer said Sunday he's interested in making another "X-Men" movie and has discussed the possibility with Twentieth Century Fox.

The American director made "X-Men" and "X2: X-Men United," but passed on the third installment so he could make "Superman Returns." "Rush Hour" director Brett Ratner ended up shooting that film, "X-Men: The Last Stand." South African filmmaker Gavin Hood made another spin-off, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," which was released earlier this year.

"I'm still looking to possibly returning to the 'X-Men' franchise. I've been talking to Fox about it," Singer said at a talk at South Korea's Pusan International Film Festival.

Could he be doing first class or Magneto?

No. Pass. Not even remotely interested.

I don't really wanna see any sequels or reboots or remakes of any current Marvel films (other than Iron Man) until they start making some films of other viable properties like Black Panther or Iron Fist or Luke Cage.

Or hell...even a decent BSG-like quality show of Spider-Woman on SyFy!

The only reboot/remake that I will even remotely give a thought to is Fantastic Four.

I'm kinda interested in a rebooted Ghost Rider, but that may be due to my love for Jason Aaron's current run on the title.

I would love a Luke Cage movie. Yellow shirt? Chain belt? TIARA?!

How to eat a chicken wing? What?

That's weird.

It should open up to a Green Lantern trailer with Nathan Fillion.

The site must be moving stuff around.
