Ghostbusters - Timeline

Correct. The realistic version was considered the original "Ghostbusters III", before Afterlife released. It's also acknowledged as part of the IDW comic series, which is essentially a sequel to it. The player character is given the name Bryan Welsh and leads the Chicago Ghostbusters.

Basically, every single TMNT thing. Including the comics, Including the shows, including the movies, including the Minecraft skins (literally shown as an alternate universe in one of the shows), including... the main Power Rangers universe, actually. Maybe including Stranger Things and Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Also, the DCAU has a multiverse crossover with the 2012 CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show.

Boy, it'd be cool if they did that for the Crisis on Earth-203 fan comic. Anyway, that's a good example of fanfiction being "canonised", which I guess applies to Ghostbusters even though it's really silly.

Boy, it'd be cool if they did that for the Crisis on Earth-203 fan comic. Anyway, that's a good example of fanfiction being "canonised", which I guess applies to Ghostbusters even though it's really silly.

It makes me wonder if their are other Minecraft universes
 
The Denver Ghostbusters does fit in with how the Ghostbusters became a franchise in the IDW comics. It is at odds with Gary Grooberson's 30 years line, but that's contradicted by Casper, the IDW comics (which references Egon's future death in Ghostbusters: Year One), and the VR game. I'm not a big fan of fan film crossovers and flash animation being more canon than the actual official cartoons, but... well, if you follow the connections, yeah, the fanfiction is unusually set in the main universe.

Minecraft: Story Mode implies each server is a "universe", I think. There's also A Minecraft Movie but that looks terrible.

Going with that, this means Casper, Transformers (G1 inspired variants), Freddy, Jason and the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis all exist in the Ghostbusters universe. Obviously, this is very strange even though there's technically no problems with that.

Casper connects to Ghostbusters 1-2. Ghostbusters: The Video Game is the proper sequel to the original films and has an easter egg that places it in the same universe as the Denver Ghostbusters. The IDW comics' Dimension Prime includes Ghostbusters 1-2 and Ghostbusters: The Video Game. The final comic published by IDW contains references to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, with Winston mentioning how he wants to learn more about computers since they are the "wave of the future", which, according to Erik Burnham, was meant as a nod to the Ghostbusters: Afterlife story he was aware of at the time of writing the Year One mini-series. This also applies to the ghost telling Egon that he is doomed. This was confirmed in a private email exchange between Erik and Mrmichaelt (Ghostbusters wiki admin).

So, despite a few inconsistencies, I personally accept it as one universe based on the confirmed connections.

Yeah, I'm gonna be honest, I don't even understand WHY the Minecraft Movie had to be live-action, mixed with animation. Should've just been purely animated.

Dimension 68-R is the reality of The Real Ghostbusters. In this reality, the Ghostbusters crossed over with their Dimension Prime counterparts after the ending of their series.

Dimension 68-E is the reality of the Extreme Ghostbusters series. In that reality, the events of The Real Ghostbusters occurred in the past, except the original Ghostbusters have no experience with the multiverse.

Essentially, both universes are set in separate time periods concurrent to one another but in regards to events, everything canon to The Real Ghostbusters is canon to Extreme Ghostbusters except the IDW comics' Dimension 68-R appearances. They kind-of explain this when they do a huge multiverse crossover. Dimension 68-E's version of the original four note that their 68-R counterparts appear to be their younger selves, except they have no memory of being there, teaming up with their future incarnations. In that regard, Extreme Ghostbusters is a sequel to The Real Ghostbusters but one where their 68-R IDW appearances didn't happen.

Yes. I believe that is incompatible with the Stranger Things comics though. We can say that the Stranger Things mission is canon to Far Cry however.

Is Far Cry, Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs even considered to be in the same universe?
 
Yes, although that depends on whether you believe there's a singular Ubisoft universe or multiple, each with shared organisations and lore with other franchises. Watch_Dogs: Legion has a very, very direct crossover with Assassin's Creed, but they confirmed that the two are still not the same universe.

In the Assassin's Creed universe, Aidan Pierce exists and killed Oliver Garneau during the events of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, as seen in Assassin's Creed: Origins. The Blume Corporation from Watch_Dogs exists.

In the Watch_Dogs universe, Aidan Pierce is tasked by the Assassin Brotherhood to take down Oliver Garneau. He knocks him out rather than executing him. Jacob and Evie Frye once existed and liberated London from the Templars. In 2029, the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templars are still at odds with each other. Abstergo Industries exist, as does Assassin's Creed as an in-universe video game (made by either an in-universe Ubisoft or Abstergo Entertainment).

In the Far Cry universe, Abstergo Industries and the Blume Corporation are existing companies.

Frankly, it's quite redundant. This is my understanding of it though.
