At the end of Conker's Bad Fur Day (which I presume you're referring to? There isn't a game in the series titled 'Conker', this is the main one, anyway), the game crashes due to a bug, but Conker promises the dev they won't tell anyone if they give him a way to fight off the alien, so that could just be Conker breaking the fourth wall again. I plan to add every port/adaptation eventually, and due to the nature of CBFD I doubt it'd happen twice, though the remake will at least be on the timeline as a retelling

That's fair. The Conker series is definitely a lot looser with the 4th wall breaking stuff

Also another game you could possibly add, Dr Sciencestein from Wario Land/Dr Mario 64 is actually originally from a game called Frog For Whom The Bell Tolls, so that could be added as well I think, it's the game the Prince of Sable is from (the assist trophy in Smash who turns into a frog and snake)

There's also an enemy in Ice Climber that I believe originated from DK Jr or something but I'd have to check again to be sure

I did, however, do some research and Diddy Kong Racing never even mentions Kazooie's absence in the game, so it doesn't need to be before Banjo-Kazooie, as there are a plethora of reasons Kazooie didn't show up - the most likely being Diddy Kong is more acquainted with Banjo specifically
Have you read the manual? It's literally in there

They recounted it, but didn't show any source. I initially didn't mind, but I couldn't find the quote anywhere so they could just be remembering wrong. Diddy Kong Racing released before Banjo-Kazooie, so they were just showing off the Banjo character since they already had the model (at least, that's the reason he was included) so they had no need to state he didn't come with Kazooie, or that they hadn't met, since Kazooie wasn't an established character. The reason DK Racing is where it is, is because the DS port features a matured Tiny Kong, which happens around the time of the placement
I copied it from the Mario Wiki and just double checked with the actual english manual

I read the manual on Internet Archive and... yeah, my bad. Though, after doing research on Banjo-Kazooie, the only things that place it in '98 are the fact that it released then, and that Gruntilda says she wants to be as pretty as Victoria Beckham. Victoria Beckham was most popular in the '90s, though was still popular into the late 2000s, so I can move the BK games up no problem

Honestly I think I'm starting to change my mind maybe Banjo and Conker can still happen on Mario's world. Greg Mayles when saying they weren't the same world said it worked like "the marvel heroes meeting each other" which is the same world as each other obviously, so I guess it's sorta possible he just doesn't know how shared universes work or something? Maybe?

Those are just the years the games released, so that could be excused, but that just doesn't sit right with me... I guess you could say the DK Racing manual was retconned by DK Racing DS, which moved the game up the timeline due to Tiny Kong being fully matured. You'd have to move loads of DK games down by a few years otherwise, which messes with the overall timeline, so I can't do that. I'm leaning towards the idea of DK Racing DS retconning the manual...

I've also been reading through the other timeline, I'm about halfway through and it's becoming evident how drastically different the timelines are, though they do seem to just be placing games on a whim and seeing if it works. I'd rather leave them around their release date, unless explicitly stated otherwise

Wdym on a whim? It lists the evidence that would imply which games it takes place before or after, such as character or location design changes or certain items being destroyed or discovered

Sorry, I should've been clearer. SOME games seem to be placed on a whim, for no reason stated, that displace the game from it's release date unnecessarily (one I remember off the top of my head is Yoshi's Safari)

Ohhh alright. I do disagree with a few of the placements as well, not many but a few. I think Virtual Boy Wario Land should take place after WL3 I think the virtual boy game is the actual destruction of the bulldog plane since it gets inhabited by a family of squirrels there, we don't see it completely destroyed in WL3 it just crashes there. I know the safari hat is a point of contention but Wario throws multiple away in Mario & Wario so he could just have multiple tbh.

The SSX games I think are safe to assume are definitive canon, iirc one of the Cards you can get in Mario and Luigi Paper Jam depicts a moment from SSX iirc. It's been awhile though so I forgot the exact context

Something not mentioned in either timeline, but in the Mario RPG remake there's text that states swords don't exist in Mario's universe so he doesn't know what the big giant sword guy is. Which means any other Mario game with a sword has to take place after RPG

Wait... what? Why did they include that???

Okay, so... it states the name of the sword guy (Exor) is based off Excalibur (further implying the connection between the Mushroom World and Earth is intra-dimensional cuz why else would an inhabitant of the Mushroom World be named after something on Earth if travel between the two was scarce?) but Mario doesn't get the reference because swords don't exist in the Mushroom World... well, they clearly do, because Exor's there. I'd say swords are just very uncommon in the Mushroom World and non-existent in the Mushroom Kingdom (at least up until this point). Crisis averted...
