Probably because we weren't abused.
The great thing about it though is that it vaguely seems to imply that Kid's Help Phone is a mysterious organization that can solve your problems by arranging some sort of "accident."

I don't know what car it is advertising for, but I hate that new commercial that uses "AM180" by Granddaddy, simply for using the song. Now I have to add it to my long list of good songs ruined by commercials.

No, I'm serious. I love that song. I would be so pissed if all I could remember of it was a thirty-second clip, complete with obnoxious voiceover. Just please tell me it wasn't one of those commercials with a huge fugly gas-guzzler driving around forests and mountains when you just know almost no one will drive it out of city limits.

I think it's some kind of truck of SUV, but it's animated in a weird, exaggerated black and white style, and I think the voice over only comes at the very end. The only use the instrumental section of the song, but it still is going to turn into one of those songs that I'll play and people will be like, "Oh, it's from that commercial!" Same thing that happened with "We've Been Had", "Let Me Take Your Photo", and so many more.
