So Doom's back from the Zombieverse. I hope we get the backstory of Doom against the world. Hell, I want a Mini of it.

The next cover must continue it since there's a bit of a gun barrel by Thing's shoulder.

Ohhhh, good catch on the gun barrel...all in all not a cover I was expecting for such an "amazing story", i want more pomp and circumstance!

Doom and Namor!?

Wha. . .no. I am still not getting this. No matter how Loeb tries, he is not snaring me in his trap.

The cover doesn't look too bad. I usually don't like Finch's style, but I can deal with this.

is this going to be the x-men cover. So maybe like one of bishops guns?
It looks like a SHIELD gun. The way everone's posed, the way they're looking, it looks like a SHIELD squad is honing in on them. And isn't Ultimate Bishop
dead
?

Good cover. I actually like Finch a lot.
Glad to see Ultimate Namor back...hopefully Loeb will write him like Ultimate Namor and not MU Namor.

As do I.

At the very least a one shot.

Doom vs. Marvel Zombies.

Cool all the way around.

If we use the first three issues of Ultimates 3 as a basis, then no. He'll probably be very similar to his 616 version as portrayed through the mind of an idiot 9 year old boy. Thats what I'm expecting anyway. I guess the real question is, what the **** is wrong with me that I still plan to buy this?

This is just asking to be the set-up for a terribly offensive joke, but I'm not going to be the one to make it.

Agreed. Completely.

Please share. I'm usually quick on the uptake when it comes to offensive jokes, but I'm failing to connect the dots here.

I don't remember exactly. I guess I could have said something about the ghost of his dead son writing Ultimatum? Who knows.

Anyway, IGN's top ten reasons to buy Ultimate Origins.

*yawn* Is there anyone that cares even a little bit anymore?

About Ultimate Origins? I dunno. . .I'd like to know more about the Ultimate U. The only things that have been really bad are the recent runs. Specifically, Kirkman's X-men, Carey's FF, and Loeb's Ultimates. And Ultimate Power. Before that, everything was pretty awesome. And I still enjoy Spidey.

I'm interested in ORIGINS because it strikes me it might be the last "Ultimate" story for me; in that with ORIGINS there's nothing left in the universe to care about.

One of the great things originally, was I was so into the UU I came up with a ridiculously elaborate origin story of how everything was connected. And it all tied to Galactus. It was pretty cool. So I'm kinda excited to see what they had in their heads. For this mini, I'm going to try my hardest to return to the "I  UU" mindset and enjoy it.

I do. In the concepts at least. I don't anticipate the writing to be any good. But I am interested to see how they tie these things together.
