If we use the first three issues of Ultimates 3 as a basis, then no. He'll probably be very similar to his 616 version as portrayed through the mind of an idiot 9 year old boy. Thats what I'm expecting anyway. I guess the real question is, what the **** is wrong with me that I still plan to buy this?

About Ultimate Origins? I dunno. . .I'd like to know more about the Ultimate U. The only things that have been really bad are the recent runs. Specifically, Kirkman's X-men, Carey's FF, and Loeb's Ultimates. And Ultimate Power. Before that, everything was pretty awesome. And I still enjoy Spidey.

I'm interested in ORIGINS because it strikes me it might be the last "Ultimate" story for me; in that with ORIGINS there's nothing left in the universe to care about.
One of the great things originally, was I was so into the UU I came up with a ridiculously elaborate origin story of how everything was connected. And it all tied to Galactus. It was pretty cool. So I'm kinda excited to see what they had in their heads. For this mini, I'm going to try my hardest to return to the "I :heart: UU" mindset and enjoy it.
