Pixar Theory Timeline (headcanon)

It shows a numberplate dating to September 516. Since this was an active decision made by the artists, I'm assuming it would be 20516, since 20 would be 'missing' from number plates during the time it was made.

Do you have a screenshot? I'm not sure you can add a 'missing' 20 and take that to mean it's 20 millennia in the future.

It's just because that's what I'd most likely say the artists would've put after it, if they could say the full year. If y'all want I can change it to XXX516, assuming evolution would be moving at normal rate

Cars 3: Cars D'oeuvres is in the BnL experiments room… I guess they were working on cloning technology, which botched and ended up with the monsters? (Assuming the Cars were made by the Communiverse)

Just trying to think why they wouldn't use clone technology in Monsters University. Perhaps it was outlawed… either way, I'm putting it after the other white/black room shorts

Note that, while some shorts have "(link)" after them, I haven't added all the links yet, since I'm still sourcing them out (some of them I had to watch in multiple parts)

Incredibles 2: Super Moments shows the Incredibles competing in… the Winter Olympics? I dunno, that short had a weird fixation on Winter sports with large crowds

Other than 1 micro-scene taking place in June 2019 (numberplate), Toy Story 4: Carnival Prizes is just another BnL rooms short. I'll put it after the first Toy Story one

I'm currently doing some more Pixar Shorts. They're pretty much all BnL rooms at this point, but like this post if you think I should keep Monsters University at 20516, angry face if you think it should be XX516

"Monsters, Inc.: Zooming in on some paperwork on Roz's desk early on in the film shows a date of May 6th, 2000.

Calendars in Monsters University have been found to match those of 1987, which is consistent with Pixar's rough figure of a ten year gap between films."

Since the common theory is that Monsters Inc. is in the future (with time travel) this seems to line up more with the present day events, rather than time in Monstropolis. I will, however, move A Bug's Life to 2000 to fit with the calendars shown in Monsters Inc.

Perhaps numberplates are used to show the actual year in Monstropolis, but everything else lines up with the human world as a political change somewhere down the line for quality of life, and numberplates are kept in the same year as it actually is because it's more reliant on the actual year. Nevertheless, I will leave the poll open on the previous comment. I guess use a sad emoji if I should disregard the numberplate entirely

I've actually finished everything on-screen wise now (I believe). There are a few things not included as I believe they take place in the Real World, though other than that I've finished.

Well, I still need to list all 64 Toy Story Treats shorts, and add Elio, though I'll get to those when Elio releases on D+. In the mean time, I'm going to be working on adding comics now

The Monsters Inc. comics are retconned by Monsters At Work, so I won't be including them. The Pixar comics are rare, thus expensive, yet not sought after, thus scarce on comic archives. When I find affordable ones, I'll get them, but for now I'll start working on the Detailed Timeline

I don't have any of the Blu-Rays, so I won't be able to provide chapter timestamps, though I will do my best to get accurate timestamps from D+

This page keeps refreshing in the background while I'm timestamp-ing, so I'm gonna take a short break and get a second screen to watch stuff on…

I've had literally no responses… I'm probably gonna keep it at 20516 for simplicity's sake, but I may change this if there's a lot of backlash
