Apparently there's going to be a Symbiote event this summer from Marvel and Carnage USA is going to lead into it. Maybe that's what this is.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I think either Peter Parker will come back (Ya!). Or since we saw a few boxes that supposedly filled with other altered Spiders in Miles' first issue. Someone, possibly The Scorpion, II or The Prowler will be trying to sell them to the hightst bidders.

"Showcasing the combined emblems of both "Amazing Spider-Man's" Peter Parker and "Ultimate Comics: Spider Man's" Miles Morales, the teaser simply states "Spider-Men" with a June 2012 release date. Although the teaser heavily implies a crossover between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, there is so far no evidence to support the theory."

NO!! DO NOT WANT!! It costs me too much money as it is trying to keep up with the complete Ultimate continuity (Ultimate, Zombies, Apes, Supremeverse, Head-Pool). Even then, I am not getting complete continuity. I don't want more to have to try and read and buy and keep up on. It's too much and I can't take it anymore! DO NOT WANT!!
But if Marvel either doesn't read this post or doesn't comply...

I think CBR's wrong on this one. The Ultimate Spider symbol always looked exactly like the left side of that teaser.

I trust CBR.
And I doubt Marvel will do a 616/Ultimate crossover. I'm betting it's something important for any Spider-Man title seeing as how the following month the new Spider-Man movie comes out.

You know I was thinking about this at work. This is just the first of what could be a number of teaser images, June is months away. What if it's more that just Peter Parer (Earth-616) and Miles. What if this is like an adaptation of "Shattered Dimensions?"

Joe Quesada once said that when they do an Ultimate and main stream crossover that it means that they have officially run out of ideas. I doubt it's a crossover.

Yeah, I dunno why I thought they looked the same :/
I also don't know why so many people want this to be Ultimate Peter back. Isn't it better if the dead stay dead? Bringing him back cheapens both his death and Miles' role as the new Spidey.

I got two thoughts
First, if Parker does come back it will be from some side-effect from oz. Osborn was shot point blank in the head and he came back and no one knows how. So why not the same for Peter, Otto, and Harry? I'm still convinced that Norman still alive.
If that doesn't happen, it might be some variation of Spider Island. As far a I'm aware, the #42 spider is still alive and it's possible Prowler will go back to his old apartment, find it, and still it to the highest bidder.
