Yesterday I bought some Marvel (Even though right now i hate Marvel) But it wasn't part of the main crap so that's okay. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz 1 to 8 :) Not started reading yet but looks cool.

Screw all of you guys.....Deadpool as Sasha Baron Cohen's Ali G is ****ing hilarious. A jackass as a jackass. It's funny to me.


I also don't get all the hate on Deadpool? I mean yeah it seems like he's everywhere now, but a few years ago they could barely market the guy and now he's as hot as Wolverine or Spider-Man. Why wouldn't Marvel cash in on it?
 
I have absolutely nothing against Deadpool, I love his ongoing that Way's got going

I'm just not a fan of this move Marvel's got going with the trade-ins, or the Deadpool variant month thats coming in february, also DP:MwaM isn't any good, and DP:TU's only good issue was the first one

It just seems to be too much too fast

Deadpool embodies everything that is wrong with comics. If you ever want to know why the rest of the world looks down on comic book readers, look no further than Deadpool. It's immature without being funny.

Honestly, I have no problem with it since we've been bombarded with Wolverine so much in the past that being overloaded with someone other than him is like eating chicken all the time and someone introducing you to beef.

I disagree, but mostly because I do find him funny (about 80% of the time). His ongoing by Way is indeed hilarious....especially the Dark Reign issues with him versus Bullseye.

hehe....meatsuit....hehe....

But I guess he and his humor is one of those polarizing things like Family Guy. You either like it or you don't.
 
Deadpool is great when he's funny. Way's Deadpool is hilarious.

But really? An Ali G reference? Have they been holding onto this variant for five years and waiting for just the right time?

No. They need to wait a few years, until the characters have had enough time to become even more irrelevant. :D

Maybe we can get one with Deadpool in a Falcons uniform beating a pitbull?
