Marvel teases with "THIS IS WAR" campaign

"... Marvel Comics began a new teaser image campaign to ramp up for Comic-Con International in San Diego 2012. Two images depicting artifacts from the Marvel Universe -- including Thor's shattered hammer and Wolverine's burning claws -- were revealed with the words "This Is War" superimposed below the image. Continuing its declaration of war, Marvel has released a new image, this time of the blood-stained shield of Captain America. Although the information accompanying the image divulged no new details, more will be revealed during the Amazing Spider-Man Panel on July 15 at CCI 2012."

Speculation seems to suggest it's either Ultron War (which Bendis has been pimping for quite some time) or Reckoning War (which Dan Slott introduced in She-Hulk and I've been hoping actually comes to fruition for, like, forever).

Oh Ultimates 3.... aside from that you had so many other memorable moments....
Not so subtle incense references, the true death of ultimate thor, hawkeye going from having 3 dead children to 2, terminator 2 reference, cap/black panther's deformed fingers, wasp going from asian to white, cap's eyebrows, sabretooth's "suck it" which became a variant.

well, it is being announced in the Spider-Man panel, and I've been getting vibes about MJ being in trouble for a while now from the book. They keep saying the next year is going to take Spidey to some really dark places, etc.

I certainly hope I'm wrong...
