I believe Houde won the round with Ultimate Runaways -- if I'm not mistaken, he made them into a group of street-level gang members, who have no powers, but were nevertheless influential because of their powerful parents... I think. Somebody refresh my memory, please.

Anyway, McCheese made an excellent choice, picking a relatively popular guy like Wonder Man.

Having said that, I was a little surprised that most people focused on the tech/businessman side of his back-story.

See, the version of Wonder Man that i'm personally most familiar with is the fame-hunting, arrogant Hollywood star, from Avengers West Coast (as opposed to the West Coast Avengers), circa the late 80s/early 90s. (I'm 27 now, and I had just started reading Marvel comics, as an impressionable pre-teen, at the time). So that's the Wonder Man I was attempting to Ultimize, with my treatment.

I'm worried that mine sticks out like a sore thumb, compared to the more industrial espionage oriented ideas that everybody else consistently seems to be posting. Oh well. Hopefully, that might just end up being a good thing.

I'll post my thoughts about the other entries, as soon as the deadline passes. :D

Great effort, folks! Let's keep this up.

You won the runaways, I picked the Runaways because I won the Sentry

We also did Typhiod Mary, because Entropy made her a porn star

Or he made WOnder Man a porn star

It was one of those.

Okay, folks, start PMing your votes to McCheese. Like, for real, this time :p

Game's over, and nobody else has stepped up with another version of Ultimate Wonder Man, in the past 24 hours.

I'll post my comments on the other entries later on today (it's Tuesday lunchtime already in Manila), so that my opinions don't risk influencing anybody else's voting. (As if. I'm just tired from a night shift job, and I need my rest.)

Just to answer anybody's questions, Zombiepanda's ban was for three days so he should be back by Wednesday. You can vote for him without any problems if you think he wrote the best entry.

Well, no one yet anyway. We've got a tie. Zombiepanda and Compound tied for the win. I have no idea what the protocol for this is.

I've been in this situation before, and I chose to back down, so the game could move on. I did so partly because (modesty aside), I had already won twice before, at that point; but also because I was fairly busy, at the time.

Another time when the scores were tied (between to other users, not me), the game master accepted a late, tie breaking vote, just to kill the impasse. So that's another option, McCheese.

I don't mind doing a mini challenge, but that might just delay the next round.

Hopefully, zombipanda makes his way back here soon, to mention what option he prefers.

Well I'll solve this right now. I thought Zombiepanda would be back by now, but I just looked at a post of his and he's still banned. He was banned on Sunday for 3 days. I thought Sunday was the first of those three days, which would get him back here in time to start the next round. Guess not. In the best interest of the game I'm forced to disqualify him so we can stay on schedule. Sorry Zombiepanda. Good luck next round.


Compound wins by default. Cangratulations. You should start thinking about what you want us to Ultimize. The new round starts tonight.

I was going to come back here and place an absentee vote for compound, and then everyone was going to lift me on their shoulders and parade me around Ultimate Central for being such a cool dude.... And you ruined that! Oh well...

Sorry. As of this morning you were still banned. How did you get unbanned between then and now? Did you get some dirt on one of the mods?
