But Deathstroke can't die.

And I mean that literally. Whenever he dies he just wakes up a while later and a bit younger thanks to his bodies regenerative powers.

Keep this in mind.

Of course I haven't read the issue so for all I know the guy got incinerated. Not much comes back from ash.

No. They outright state that he's still alive.
 
I don't think he's dead. Black Lightning mentioned he was breathing through tubes or something. And we all know he can heal from only a sword through the chest.
 
Just reading Revalations #2, thought I had to say the first page has gotta be one of the best first pages.
[Renne's monologue] - when i think about it my life is all about questions. the eternal verities you know. who am i? why am i here? what is my purpose? and then the bonus round questions: why do bad things happen to good people? are human beings inherintly good or evil or somewhere in between? what happens when we die? what is love? Those are traditional questions i guess and i don't expect to find their answer until about five minutes after I'm dead....

[next panel shows her looking terrified, "cris? cris allen?"]

Man.... You're killing me Morrison and Jones... killing me... I say a February finale is hopeful at best.

I would think that if they let this delay too long, it will start to affect the regular monthlies which are supposedly impacted by the result of FC.

I thought I read somewhere that they had brought in another artist to help keep things running closer to on time. But I could be wrong.
 
I read the final rogues revenge last night. I noticed the new Legion and revelations are out too. Are people still reading these? They're pretty much the only thing i'm bothering with atm.

anyway - rogues revenge was alright i thought, though it was horrifically rushed, and inertia is a rubbish character (even when written by johns). Also I was quite amazed at what they did to zoom. I'm thinking there will have to be a new reverse flash to fill the void when rebirth kicks up, or they might bring back thwane to match barry.

I liked RR a lot. Imo it has been the best FC tie in yet. Liked the art too.

LO3W's was also good. Liked the hints dropped for Blackest Night.
 
Legion of Three Worlds still isn't making sense to me. I have no idea how this is actually tied into Final Crisis.

As for Rogue's Revenge, it was a nice story. Little revenge, little payback, lot's of killing. Nice little story.

... Didn't Morrison say he finished writing this a YEAR ago? Isn't that the reason why Final Crisis doesn't tie into the series tie-ing into it? Because Morrison had written the mini prior to the tie-ins and he didn't share them?

JG Jones sounds really depressed about not being able to finish #7. There's an apology posted on CBR where he mentions "rethinking his future". I hope he doesn't give up on comics, I think he's a great artist, he just needs to rethink doing monthly comics.
