Disney Awesomitity

So, in two weeks, I'm going to EPCOT. My friend started a tradition last year that every year on his birthday, we go to EPCOT and go "Drinking Around the World".

So, you start at Mexico and stop to buy a drink at every country until the end. Last year, people made the mistake of doing this then riding Mission: Space (Which, for those who don't know, is basically a gravity simulator). It was quite funny to watch.

EPCOT food is awesome.

Mission:Space is an awesome ride.

Both are awesome. But that don't mean that you can add 2 awesomes together and make it even more awesome. I love scotch. I love peanut butter. That doesn't mean I wanna throw back a shot of single-malt Skippy.

I'm watching "Lilo and Stitch" right now.

I don't know which is awesomer....the Elvis laced soundtrack.....or the beautiful watercoloring thru the whole movie?

And oh yeah....
But anyways......in regards to the topic of this thread---I gotta say that I still love Disney's opening company shots. You know how all PIXAR films open with that hoping lamp post...and all of Paramount films open with the stars circling around the mountain top? Well remember Disney had that blue screen and a little white spark would fall from the top of the screen and form their Disney Castle logo to the theme of "Wish Upon A Star" like this...

All I'm gonna say is that I am in love with the new animation one they use now. I just really noticed it at the beginning of Pirates2.

"New" Disney Logo

Still love it.

The watercoloring

I own the soundtrack to that movie as well.

Great stuff

Especially the opening credits part where she's swimming and when they're surfing.

I've been to Hawaii. If I ever get the chance to get stationed there....I'm not coming back. Ever. I don't care what trouble I get.

Lilo & Stitch should not have been successful enough to merit endless spinoff movies and TV shows. The film itself is highly overrated. *thumbs down*

I thought the reason this thread resurfaced was because of Enchanted. It truly is the best non-Pixar Disney film in years; it's even better on a second viewing.

The title of this thread still looks like "Disney Awesometitty".

Eh, why the hell not?

You Americans will eat anything.

Especially if it's made of saturated fat.

Deep-fried twinkies and snickers?

Hard liquor made with peanut spread?

They're pretty much the same damn thing.

Don't forget double bacon donut cheese burgers.

Felt this was appropriate.

Although Emporer's New groove was one of my favorite Disney films ever, I really, really want to see what Kingdom of the Sun would've been like.

The Emperor's New Groove, The Lion King, Tarzan, Hercules, Lilo & Stitch, Peter Pan, Aladdin, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Mulan and Robin Hood would probably be my favourite ten, though I can't really remember much of the older ones and would need to see them again.

THAT'S the triumphant return to hand-drawn animation we've been waiting for all these years?!
