Death of Ultimate Spider-Man (Feb. 2011)

USM "stops" to #162, it's the #160 here: misleading as all variants already did.
Plus the fact there is the Fallout saga after.

And if he will die it's only to say hello to Uncle Ben, his parents, Harry, etc and come back for the readers, because Great power means great Profits.

Whether he actually dies or not is yet to be seen, but don't necessarily go by the cover. Remember Ultimates 2 #5? This same type of discussion was had with that cover.

I will be using this for most of my interactions with human people.

The cover with Thor holding Iron Man's helmet and Cap's shield in the rain & everyone thought he was going to beat the crap out of them and it turned out to be quite the opposite.

Yeah. Covers lie all the time. Like when you pick up a cover by Adam Hughes and you expect the art inside to be good.

That sounds exactly like the cover to Avengers/JLA #4 crossover with Superman on the cover.

I just saw someone mentioning Woody (Ultimate Adventures) as a possible replacement for Peter.

It will never happen, but I think it might be cool. At least it would interesting to see Ultimate Adventures mentioned again.

that's the one Ultimate series I never bought. There was a time (Up through the conclusion of Ultimatum), that I owned every issue from every Ultimate title, except for Ultimate Adventures.

Now I'm getting rid of most of them.

Slightly off-topic, but I'm feeling the same way. Honestly I feel like I could completely ditch my Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men trades, as well as the second half or so of Ultimate Spider-Man. I dumped most of the floppies long ago.

yeah, i only bought the oversized hard covers of the issues I liked (Millar, Bendis, and BKV's runs un UXM, Millar/Bendis, Ellis, and Millar again's runs on FF, Ultimate Extinction, Ultimates 1, Ultimates 2, Ultimate Marvel Team-Up, and the full run of USM). I'll keep those, but i'm going to get rid of all my singles except the USM run.

Anyway, back on track.

USM #158 was a decent read, UAvNU #4 was pretty good too. It seems like
Vulture is the new Shocker, and Greg Stark is the evil mastermind behind the scenes of what's been going on in the Ultimates
- but even he knew it was obvious.

So long as you don't burn them, that means the site is safe right?

Ultimate Avengers v. New Ultimates #4 was the closest thing Millar's done to his original run on Ultimates since coming back to this little universe.

I hope Director G. Stark sticks around. He seems like exactly the kind of forward thinking detestable bastard who should be running SHIELD. Honestly? I'm starting to get a little excited for the relaunch. Seriously.

Seconded. Loved this issue. Gregory does seem like the kind of guy who should be running shield. Although I still kinda want to see what happens to Fury and Danvers.

Spider-man curling up in the fetal position and asking for it to be over soon was a really powerful image. That is what a teenager would do after being shot. (to bad he's being an idiot in his own book. Seriously pete, go to the ****ing hospital).

But most importantly; they got rid of Thor's pointless accent! Thank god for that! And they had already gotten rid of his useless girlfriend. Now all they have to do to make Thor likable again is give him back his original hammer!
