Oh, there is Sims lore, it's just more hidden and less in your face. Sims has a fascinating story for some characters, especially those recurring in different titles
I’m aware of the loose story (I think I saw MatPat do a video on it?) though again, it’s vague as to whether it’s time travel, out of order games, alternate universe travel, etc

I do want to note that I think Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix doesn't actually include any characters from DDR so I don't think there's any connection to the main franchise as far as I know. It's similar to Hyrule Warriors taking the gameplay of Dynasty Warriors and not actually being a crossover really.

For Tetris you could include Tetris Worlds and Tetris Effect (Tetris Worlds is about alien Tetris pieces and Tetris Effect gets into like spiritualism type lore iirc) maybe, it's one of the only Tetris games with a story, although it doesn't have Nintendo characters so idk if you'd include them.

There's also Puyo Puyo Tetris, which is part of the Puyo Puyo series, but Puyo Puyo is kind of its own beast and again is just using the Tetris gameplay for one entry in the series (plus Puyo Puyo is a spin off of an RPG series) and owned by sega

I'm not adding any other Tetris games, since they aren't really crossovers. Though, if that's the case with DDR too, I won't include it either. I just assumed there'd be more elements than just gameplay in DDR

I'm not sure if the DDR series even has lore or characters tbh. Maybe it does, if it does I would kinda like to see someone tackle that series' chronology at some point

I looked it up to see if it did have any story to it. Some of the games had story modes, I believe

How are you gonna explain the other Nintendo characters in Tetris NES ending? Like Samus, Link and Pit

Another thing worth noting, Wooly World and Crafted World don't "actually" happen. They were said by the devs to be stories made up by some children using arts and crafts, throughout levels you can see Mario Kart brands from the present day that the present day Mario cast made, like Mario's motors, yoshis cookie, etc. also in MK8 on the ribbon road stage (which is set in a kids room with all the characters shrunk down) we can see some yarn yoshis around, further showing that they aren't the actual past versions of Yoshi or Bowser, just toys in-universe, you can probably just put both sometime before MK8 or use the release dates.

Also you can probably add the Mario Paint and Mario Studio games. The characters like undodog and coursebot from Mario Maker originate from those games. Not sure where you would put them outside of release dates either. Although iirc one of the Warioware games has Dr Crygor invent a thing called the MakerMatic and we see the Mario Paint/Maker characters so maybe after that? I don't remember which entry that was though

It didn't explain anything about the other Nintendo cameos in the game. They appear alongside Mario in the ending so idk what your approach to that is, the OP doesn't really explain it
Does it not? I think in the Kirby section, since I generalised things there

Many Nintendo characters cameo in various Mario games, such as Link, Samus and Inklings. Due to the impossibility of their games happening in the Mario universe, they are assumed either doppelgängers or extradimensional travellers.
Nope, it’s here

Metroid takes place in the future though so it wouldn't really work.
Samus does make cameos in Mario games but it doesn't really make sense because Metroid is at least several decades into the 21st century, most likely the 2090s

Although like.... Samus does appear in Kirby, and Kirby does have an appearance of one of the puzzles from Mario's Picross as a living being for some reason (as well as Famicom Fairytales characters and R.O.B. and Professor Hector from Gyromite), and Mario gets cameos in Kirby too in stadiums.... It's weird I dunno. Mecheye from Kirby is also referenced in the Star Fox Zero prequel animation. At some point I feel like it's just Easter eggs

Kirby’s portrayal of Earth is in a nuclear winter, so it can’t work (either as a parallel Earth, or Earth in the same universe as the Mushroom World)

Metroid timeline would go like this btw. The games use stuff like 20X5 for a few games (not fusion or dread) but Samus and Space Pirates appears in Galactic Pinball which is set in 2100 so I use 2095

20X5/2095- Metroid/Metroid: Zero Mission
20X5/2095- Metroid Prime Remastered
20X5/2095- Metroid Prime: Hunters
20X6/2096- Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
20X6/2096- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
20X6/2096- Metroid Prime: Federation Force/Metroid Prime: Blast Ball
20X7/2097- Metroid II: Return of Samus/Metroid: Samus Returns
20X7/2097- Super Metroid JP commercial
20X7/2097- Super Metroid
20X7/2097- Metroid: Other M
20X9/2099- Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
2100- Galactic Pinball
21XX- Metroid Fusion
21XX- Metroid Dread
