Lol, but yeah it's a generic Baseball game like tennis NES, it just has a Mario cameo like tennisNope, it was just this (I searched “Baseball” in the search bar and due to the lack of formatting there it looked like a separate entry)

Also since he's canonically only 90 and not centuries I think that this proves the Mad Sciencestein from Wario Land 3 is a different guy from the one in 4. In Japan they have different names I mentioned beforeRobot engineering authority, Honors Professor [at the] Masakachotto University Engineering Department. [He] heard the rumours of the Golden Pyramid [and] set off on his own expedition. His age is about 90 years old.
This is from the Wario Land 4 Japanese manual. The university name is from FFWTBT I think?
I always just assumed they didn’t age in the pocket dimension. Also, Scienstein could still be good during WL3, since all the enemies were changed to be evil (or something like that, idk). One could argue Scienstein is affected differently due to being human, so it changed his mind instead of just his body (and controlling him) which is why it took longer to become good againAlso since he's canonically only 90 and not centuries I think that this proves the Mad Sciencestein from Wario Land 3 is a different guy from the one in 4. He's also evil in Dr Mario 64 though. I feel like it's more likely they're separate characters. I posted above how their names in Japan are different, their designs are a bit different as wellI always just assumed they didn’t age in the pocket dimension. I thought Dr 64 was when he was shown to be good? Anyway, the game could just happen between Wario Land 3 and 4.He's also evil in Dr Mario 64 though
I guess, it's fine either way I was just thinking it's possible 3 and 4 were different guys because of the names.I thought Dr 64 was when he was shown to be good? Anyway, the game could just happen between Wario Land 3 and 4.
I know I’m shifting a lot of stuff around based on a relatively unrelated franchise quite a bit, though I don’t want to treat something as “canon unless not immediately, easily going on the timeline”, especially when it’s a franchise referenced in Mario and not Mario referenced in a franchise since it feels Nintendo is actively making an effort to say “this franchise is canon”
Also, there’s more things for Scienstein being the same than being different, so I don’t see why it should be disregarded because of some inconsistencies - a lot of big franchises gain inconsistencies when this much content’s involved anyway
Yeah, that seems fairI'd assume the 4 original games all occured in 1984 due to that being the year Sabreman got frozen in Hailfire peaks. Although... Pentagram might not be canon. If you play UnderWurlde there's 3 endings depending on which exit you use. One tells you to go play Knight Lore (the 3rd game also released in 1984), Mire Mare (the cancelled game) or Pentagram (released in 1986) and if you finish Knight Lore it tells you to go play Mire Mare (again cancelled) so I think it's possible Pentagram doesn't happen since that came out in 1986 and Sabreman says he was frozen since 1984, so I think the first 3 games are canon. Then the SabreWulf GBA game occurs after Banjo Tooie when Sabreman is unfrozen
