I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just agreeing with the fact that it's intentionally mysterious to every reader, just like how Lost can be nuts or whatever. Geez. Don't you guys try and start another ****ing 6 page argument because someone says something different.

It did seem like there's about 10 different things going on, and the scene changes every two pages.
The 50 year old time travelling bullet is awsome (again completely retcons DoTNG) this is a beautifully imagined way of killing them, and them dying backwards. It's really 4 dimensional thinking there and I get the impression we're gonna see lots more things like that now barry is back for good
I was thinking about the Beach boys and thought Jay said "those vibrations...it can't be....those are GOOD Vibrations!"
I don't know if it was explicitly said but it's ****-obvious that the sumo wrestler is Orion - I'm a bit meh at the minute, but he only had like 3 lines dialogue. we've also got Granny Goodness, who was well good, actually quite scary - can't wait to see how the other new gods come into this.
Also what was going on with batman and the tiger they were hooked up to? and what was that thing and that other guy on the last page?

Anyone else notice Kamadi in the cage yelling at Turpin?
And the tiger was Kamadi's friend if I remember correctly.
The alpha lanterns turning evil was no big surprise. But I hardly know of the myself, but from what was presented of them in the story, it didn't surprise me.
Considering I loved Seven Soldier's Mr. Miracle, I'm enjoying this type of story.
And now the Flashes need to outrun Death. Who was the other thing with the Black Racer behind Barry?
Oh, and I wonder how long it's going to take Nix to find the word, Shazam.

- I know nothing about Sonny Sumo or Mister Miracle except that their team-up will be awesome.
- I dug the knights riding around Bludhaven on the backs of jackals. So ****ing bizarre.
- Turpin's Orion?
- Oh, and the cosmic bullet. The cosmic bullet and Barry being chased by death. Dug that too.
I like the idea of them collecting an army of gods, using the ones who pledge to their cause and dissecting the rest.

Overall, the issue started out a bit confusing, but after the first 'scene', I got...well, I'll say "used" to the issue and thought it was good. I might not understand everything completely, but I'm enjoying what I'm reading.
And the whole bullet shot backwards in time was my favorite part. As I read and understood that, I was like, "Whoa. Awesome!"

Yeah. There's that chunk of time missing between when we saw Turpin being exposed to the anti-life kids and the present. And in between, he's grown increasing violently, and has a new voice in his head. Good call on Sonny being Orion. I didn't even pick up on that. Looks like Miracle and Sonny are going to be collecting the vessels of good New Gods to fight back against the Dark Side Club, with Super Young Team in tow.
There's not much to be known about them, yet. I don't think they're all compromised though. Just the girl, who's apparently Granny's pet.
I think it would be funny if Superman Beyond was about Superman auditioning the Loises of all the different worlds to replace the one on his earth. "Who Wants To Be Earth-1's Lois Lane?"

I'm sort of with you there. I care, but actually reading the event has lost a lot of impact. They're just too close to cliffnotes of whats actually happening. I really wish they'd do a giant compendium after each event with everything edited together into a cohesive story instead of chunks here and chunks there.

Maybe they're trying to find a new body for Orion in the same way that Darkseid was looking for a new body in Turpin.
That's what I like about this book. It looks like it's going to be pretty damn well self contained.
I guess sort of like One Million, where most of the crossover tie-ins were taking place in the far future and the action in the series was mostly in the present.
I think you're missing out. So far it's been pretty good.
