This is a timeline for the various pieces of connected Angry Birds media. It contains the two movies, as well as the majority of the games, and the various shows (AB Toons, Stella, Piggy Tales, etc). This is loosely based off the timeline done by u/Physical_Pickle_1150 however I have made some changes based on what I feel is the better order. I will only be specifying episodes when they are not all one after the other (this will not be the case on the detailed timeline). I have placed the Star Wars games based off their Gregorian Calendar dates, compared to the Rio dates (2012/2014). This is a huge work in progress

green content is content that has been confidently charted. This list is in no particular order.

This is somewhat out of the blue to make, but I just wanted to get it out there. Since I'd just ranted about a Subway Surfers (among other games) timeline in the Timeline Hub, and I didn't want to go on another rant about another video game right after, so I just went straight to a unique thread

It has come to my attention that AB GO! can't take place before Rio 2 (assuming the peace theory is true - which seems to be most likely, since GO! clearly shows the birds and pigs coexisting, not just go karting) for a number of reasons. I am going to be placing AB Seasons episodes based on the year and season/festival they released for, which goes until 2016, after Rio 2. This means GO! would also have to be later. I am not yet dating each individual Seasons episode, though I have moved GO!

I really don't think Star Wars games and the movies are game canon, because they really seem to just be different continuities

AB2 proves the movies are, to an extent, canon, also see the link at the top of the thread for a better explanation as to how they fit. As for Star Wars, Seasons and Rio establish a Gregorian calendar system, so I put the Star Wars games there. The only games I'm really considering definitely not canon are the pop/blast/match games since they have no lore (other than Dream Blast, which has small worldbuilding and a sister show), the browser-exclusive games, and Transformers, which - although having an in-universe explanation as to why the Birds and Pigs are Autobots, the duplicated characters means it couldn't work, based off the explanation given, unless it was its own thing

After researching Angry Birds Evolution, I've concluded that it most likely happens last in the franchise. It shows rapid aging and evolving (albeit in the Pokémon sense) and promotional material seem to imply that there is also a rivalry between the birds. I am taking this as a civil war between the birds and pigs (though not necessarily those two as the two sides) after world peace was achieved

Turns out my original list of non-browser AB games wasn't comprehensive (thanks Fandom). I'll probably add some new games every now and then that aren't on the content list

Angry Birds Journey is… discerning, to say the least. It clearly establishes itself in the Dream Blast setting, with baby-fied versions of the main cast, though has pigs, caged hatchlings and even King Leonard as an enemy, meaning placing it on the timeline is quite problematic. The only thing I can think of is that Leonard is re-exiled, then learns to resent the birds and the pigs. He developed the aging technology seen in Evolution, and de-aged the bird/pig population. This also solves the problem of the birds knowing each other as children in Bubble Trouble/Dream Blast, and allows for Angry Birds: Summer Camp to be canon (terrible show, but it made an effort to be canon to the movie, so I might as well include it) assuming it happens after Dream Blast. This would have then led to a coup staged by Leonard, sparking the civil war seen in Evolution.

(Can't believe I'm doing civil war worldbuilding for a mobile game. It seems really cliché to take something with seemingly no lore and pull horrifying lore out of the blue, but this honestly isn't too far-fetched for Angry Birds)

Honestly, I feel there are probably 2 main continuities: The games (which include the shows and the movies due to AB2) and the movies (most things that used the movie design, only S3 and 4 of Piggie Tales, and Reloaded). The movie timeline ends up being different due to not having to account for Smooth Cheeks or Journey, and Reloaded basically recycles the levels of the classic AB games with the movie plotlines, so it would again be different there as much of Space/Seasons would happen much earlier

Or OR we can establish this now bear with me-OR GOD THERE'S A BEAR H-
what if the star wars games literally do exist in a different galaxy far far away with aliens that just happen to look like birds and pigs
