Can someone tell me about Mr. Melmoth without spoiling too much of this book? What does he do? What has he done? He appears at the end of Klarion the Witch Boy #2 and at the beginning of Frankenstein #1 (I read ahead a little :)).

You'll see.

I'm just not a happy bunny. :furious:

Or they are misleading us.

Mr. Miracle escaped the life trap before... perhaps he'll escape from death next.

I mean, I wouldn't put it past Morrisson to kill off a character to make him more powerful...

I think there's more to it.

Good enough.

I don't want to pretend like I am so familiar with Morrison's work that I would expect this, but this did cross my mind. It is ridiculously simple to just have the one person not appear in a panel of the biggest selling crossover of the year.

Just finished the Vol. 2 TPB.

**** yeah.

Zatanna #3 and Guardian #4 just made this series.

The Manhattan Guardian kicks ***.

I hope he gets an ongoing, or at least another miniseries.

Spoilers for 52...

At the gathering of superheroes, Klarion, Guardian and Shining Knight aren't there.

And Mr Miracle too!!!!

Klarion was there? I didn't see him.

If this stuff ties into Seven Soldiers, it might mean either Guardian or Shining Knight is going to die...

So SSoV #1 has been resolicited for a later date, wich DC has yet to announce. We've had this thing running for over a year now, 7 minis that overall came out about a month late and now the final chapter drops off the radar. I'm dissapointed. :(

Interesting, since JH Williams is doing Batman now. Wonder if he'll ever get around to SSoV now.

And according to the shipping update thread his first Batman issue has been delayed. Hopefully it's because he's doing SSoV #1.

I saw this and found it odd. So I checked. It's delayed date is 7/5. That's the first Wednesday. Things don't get delayed upwards. I found out it's original shipping date which was the 6th of July. A Thursday. So that's why the have it down as the 5th, since that's July's first Wednesday.

Good news from Lying in the Gutters:

SEVEN SOLDIERS ON

[Green Light]JH Williams has commented on the delay to "Seven Soldiers," now slipping several months until September. He writes:

"hey all, just wanted to pipe in here and give my two cents for what it's worth. i apologize that seven soldiers has gotten so screwed up. the script wasn't fully ready until recently and i needed to have some work so i did a single issue for detective. i know that DC has solicited the following issue of detective as me doing that as well. however that is wrong info. i had to finish the 821 issue of detective while waiting on script for seven soldiers. that came in while working on detective so now i am fully working on seven soldiers fulltime. but one of the other reasons it will take so long is that it will be a monster of a task. the issue is loaded with all kinds of stuff that is taking some serious care from the drawing side of things. hopefully you will all see what i mean when the issue does make it to your book shelf. i will be returning to batman stuff when seven soldiers finally wraps"

And when his shift key starts working too, I hope.

I got volume 3 today and just finished it. I love this even more. The characters I figured I wouldn't care about I loved.

Frankstein.
This guy was in it for one issue and was barly in it but he pwned that punk kid.

Zatanna.
I loved that outfit she was in. The ending kinda of confused me.

Klarion.
I thought he was the worst of the minis. It's got better. Wtf happened with the cat? That freaked me out when I turned the page.

Bulleteer.
I don't like the costume. I like the follow up to what happened in issue 0. She is a cool character/ Superhero teen porn. That's brillant.

Mister Miracle.

Who in the **** is this guy and what happened to Scott. I always like the costume. The escaping from a black hole is genius. When Metron showed up was the ****. I am confused as the what's going on but it all ruled. The New Gods as homeless people, I'm so confused.

I can't wait for volume 4.

I also love the covers to the trades, with every one it pulls out to reveal more characters.
