Slowly but surely the New 52 is becoming a true reboot, and as it does i've noticed a trend. Aside from Green Lantern most of Johns previous high profile work is now stricken from Continuity.
The Flash? Wally West who?
Teen Titans? Never happened.
JSA? Earth 2 again, doubt any of the 90s and 2000s run ever happened.
Infinite Crisis? Gone.
Hawkman? I dunno, I haven't read the new one, but I doubt it.
Booster Gold? Nothing in JLI to suggest he was more than he is now.
Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E.? Not without a golden age.
At this point I'd be really surprised if 52 happened.
So why is this going on? I doubt it was shame. Teen Titans and JSA were better than most of what he's putting out now. Flash was fantastic.
Is it just the unfortunate consequences of him being a writer that loved to play in continuity?
Thoughts?
