Hm, I first read Batwoman right when it was coming out. I lost interest partway through the long arc that introduces the DEO and filters the perspective through all the various supporting cast. Upon re-reading it, I've liked the entirety of the run (though I'm a few issues behind). It stays more or less an ensemble book so if that's to your tastes, you might not like it, but I think it's fantastic. It has the sort of broad character building and deep world creation that reminds me of Starman (and I think, once all is said and done, it's going to sit in the same class as Starman). The art goes back to that gorgeous, lush style of the early issues for the Wonder Woman arc and also develops a great dynamic between the two. I love Amy Reeder's art, but it doesn't strike me as a great fit for this book. JH Williams returning to art for the WW art is really a sight to behold, and it really builds on a lot of plot that's been building from the start. I say give it another try, and at least read through the Wonder Woman team-up arc. It's clear Blackman and Williams aren't just idling on this book. They have a distinct, long-form narrative built to play out over the course of their run and I suspect it's only going to get better from here (Though Williams has commented that DC has more or less hobbled his run by rejecting some of his story ideas, so I really hope we get to see it more or less how he intended).
